Description

The HC&ADBA system consists of databases containing audiograms and collateral information gathered from government agencies and from corporations. The databases, collected as the result of collaborations between NIOSH and the other organizations, have been used to assess the effectiveness of hearing conservation programs for the design of a template to be applied for the collection of new data. This is a pilot surveillance system. Methods of data collection for this system include batch file transfer of data. Data are originally collected by HC&ADBA research partners.
