Purpose
Community profiles are available on various subject areas such as cause of death, chronic diseases, unintentional injuries, prenatal and others. Each community data profile table provides data on 15-30 indicators for each county/city selected. Information provided includes the number of events, county/city rate, statistical significance, quintile ranking and the state rate. By clicking on an indicator in the table, the user can access resource pages that provide a definition of the indicator, risk factors, condition description, intervention strategies, state and community resources and programs, published reports and other related web sites. In addition to subject specific profiles, there is a Leading Problems profile for each community. This profile displays the indicators selected from all profiles which are the leading problems for that community.
