Description
The FINRISK study is a large population survey on risk factors of chronic, noncommunicable diseases. The survey is carried out in five year intervals using independent, random and representative population samples from different parts of Finland. The main results from the previous FINRISK 2007 survey are published (the report with summary in English). The National FINRISK Study 2007 Survey was carried out in 5 areas in Finland and 2000 inhabitants aged 25-74 years were invited to participate in each area.
